Design for Europe Programme in Malta
How can design boost innovation and create economic growth? Can we create the conditions in Malta to incentivize businesses to better their products and services, boost their profits and improve customer experience? The MBB recognizes the potential for business mobilization through innovation – something that can be unlocked by enabling a smart industry that can take all businesses and companies to the future. Through its Design for Europe Programme initiatives, the MBB is creating the awareness that business models can be changed and how they can be changed through innovation and creativity. Following the successful launch of the MBB’s kick-off event Innovation through Design on the 6th November 2015, the next step is to facilitate and mobilize these operations through training and education.
With the collaboration and support of key stakeholders, the MBB aims to drive this initiative in direction of the acceleration of design driven innovation in Malta. This initiative intends to engage local businesses and encourage them to embark on a design-based endeavor.
