Marketing & Business Development Executive

The Malta Business Bureau (MBB) is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Business Development Executive to join our team. If you thrive in a young, fast-paced environment and know how to turn great content into revenue, we want to meet you.

This is not just a standard communications role. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter who can champion the MBB brand while actively driving new revenue streams. You will be the creative force behind our social media and digital publications, the voice of our press releases, and the driving force behind our ad sales and podcast sponsorships.

• Are fully bilingual (fluent in both Maltese and English).
• Have a keen eye for design and content creation (Canva, Adobe suite, basic video/audio editing).
• Are a natural networker who isn’t afraid to pitch sponsorships and sell digital advertising.

Responsibilities and Duties

Commercial & Business Development

• Pitch and sell advertising space across MBB’s digital and online publications.
• Identify, approach, and secure corporate sponsors for MBB products, including our official podcast and upcoming events.
• Brainstorm, develop, and execute innovative ideas to generate new revenue streams for the organization.
• Attend industry events to actively network, build relationships, and represent the MBB brand to potential partners.

Content Creation & Marketing

• Manage and grow MBB’s social media accounts with engaging, relevant, and timely content on matters of EU affairs.
• Utilize layout and publishing software (including Canva and other professional design tools) to create high-quality marketing collateral, digital publications, and social media graphics.
• Handle basic filming, audio recording, and editing to support MBB’s multimedia initiatives (e.g., podcasts, video snippets, interviews).

Public Relations & Communications

• Draft and distribute compelling press releases to local and international media outlets.
• Ensure all external communications maintain a high standard of bilingual professionalism (Maltese and English).
• Collaborate with the wider MBB team in a dynamic, youthful environment to align marketing strategies with our EU policy and projects objectives.
