Joep Paemen delivers Service Design Workshops in Malta
The MBB held a successful two-day industry work shop on the 13th and 14th June, as a second initiative in its involvement in the Design for Europe project. MBB’s collaboration with the Design Council UK, the Danish Design Centre and support from the Enterprise Europe Network has resulted in the beginnings of a pilot study with a number of local companies that are committed to learning and implementing best international practices.
Service Design expert Joep Paemen delivered the hands-on workshops introducing the participants to alternative approaches and business assessment tools which are currently trending with well-known design oriented companies abroad.
The MBB will continue to follow up with the participant companies who will now be performing their own business assessment from a design perspective. A follow up seminar will be organised for the participants in September whereby the companies will present their experience in applying these new approaches expert recommendations. Mr Paemen will once again be accompanied by Design for Europe Project Lead, PeiChin Tay and Danish Design Centre Programme Director, Christina Melander during this seminar.
This initiative will result in a case study for Malta that will later be presented by the Malta Business Bureau at the final Design for Europe summit on the 6th of October.
