BUILDING SUSTAINABLE BUSINESSES
Conference on Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs
Is a lack of financial knowledge holding you back from pursuing your entrepreneurial dreams? Do you want to become increasingly confident in making personal and professional financial decisions? On Friday 28th September, a half-day conference is being organised with the intention of encouraging current and prospective entrepreneurs to improve their financial literacy.
Organised by the Malta Business Bureau (MBB) and the Mediterranean Bank Network (MBN) as part of the EU-funded project INVEST, this event seeks to provide a platform for discussion on the importance of financial literacy – not only as a valuable life skill, but also as a crucial element of managing a successful business. The finalised version of the INVEST Financial Literacy Toolkit will also be launched. The conference is free to attend, although registration is required and spaces are limited.
Speakers will include the Minister for Education and Employment, Evarist Bartolo, the Parliamentary Secretary for EU Funds and Social Dialogue, Aaron Farrugia, MEPs Roberta Metsola and Miriam Dalli, as well as Seb Ripard – Fetchit, Monique Chambers – Indulge, David Seisun – Sixteen, and Matthew Spiteri – Altern.
Those interested in signing up to the Building Sustainable Businesses – Conference on Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs can do so by sending an email to Project Coordinator Marika Huber on firstname.lastname@example.org
The INVEST Project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is run by the following European organisations: the Malta Business Bureau and the Mediterranean Bank Network (Malta), Association EFFEBI and Eurocrea Merchant (Italy), IDEC (Greece), Inqubator Leeuwarden (the Netherlands) and Bridging the Future (the United Kingdom).
