National Clean up Day

The National Clean-up Day is a great way for your business to show that you care, you care about the locality where your business operates and the country within which we live. CSR unlike sponsorship, a business is expected to give more than just money but rather a commitment to the community, that as an active corporate member it gives back to the community which allows it to thrive.

JCI Malta & Malta Clean-up the drivers behind Let’s Do It National Clean-up Day, which is happening on Saturday 16th September, are looking for companies and individuals to take the lead and give back to their community. With over 100 spots around the island we are looking for companies to join within the various cleanups, and help towards the running costs of the event and help raise awareness towards this very event and related issues.

Restructuring an Orphanage for abandoned kids in Jhansi, India

This campaign aims to help the Maltese Sisters of the Sacred Heart in opening a new centre in Jhansi – India. The centre is planned to accommodate abandoned children who thanks to your donation can be given a decent living and education. With your help these children can be saved from a faith of poverty, abuse and crime. The existing infrastructure accommodates 50

abandoned children but their living conditions are extremely poor

lacking beds, furniture and other basic facilities to safeguard their own health. Thanks to this Mission our team wishes to open an extension infrastructure to double the amount of abandoned children under care but also to refurbish the existing complex.

Companies contributing to this cause will be mentioned live on TV on all local stations (i.e. TVM2, ONE, NET, Smash, Living & Xejk) during the 16th edition of Maratona Missjoni. Moreover their contribution shall be displayed on screen in the form of a subtitle which will appear throughout the 42 hours transmission. Companies donating €100 or more will also have the possibility to display their logo on a billboard physically present at the studio during the transmission. The billboard will be appearing from time to time as background behind presenters.

Bringing the Azure Window back to life

A startup wants to reconstruct the Azure Window, and it needs your help. Having already pledged some of their own funds into the project, the duo behind Guerilla Ltd is keen to recreate Gozo’s fallen geological icon through an augmented reality app, accessible to all through their smartphones. Guerilla is asking all those who hold the Azure Window close to their hearts to help them continue to develop a mobile application that does justice to this dearly departed geological marvel, by boosting their funding enough to craft a high fidelity 3D model and improve the project’s existing Augmented Reality mechanism. Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are available for companies contributing to creating this app.
